As the name suggests Derma+Flex provides a secure, invisible and flexible seal that acts as a protectant over most closed incisions, minor wounds and abrasions.

Derma+Flex compliments the Sure+Close Wound Closure System as it can be topically applied to seal wounds that have been closed by either sutures, staples or Steri-Strips (Steri-Strips is a registered TM of 3M Company).

Where Sure+Close cannot be used, or when a surgeon still prefers sutures or staples Derma+Flex compliments traditional wound closure methods and provides a waterproof, microbial barrier that improves the integrity of the wound repair.

In comparison... many competitors' products are thin and runny and difficult to control. Because they are so thin they require multiple layers to be applied for coverage and strength.

• Heat Sterilized - Provides 2 years product shelf life! No hard, stringy unusable glue in the storage room.

In comparison... many competitor products are Gamma Radiation Sterilized. This reduces product shelf life and makes storage for future use almost impossible. First in - First Out inventory control is critical.

• Unique monomer blend and curing mechanism reduces the risk of an exothermic reaction and burning or irritation.

In comparison.....many competitor products have the adhesive come through an activator tip to cure. This tends to be very slow curing product..sticky...and when it eventually does cure it does so quickly it generates significant heat.

• Flexible! Derma+Flex flexes with the skin and won't slough off.

In comparison... some competitor products are so brittle you can actually here them crack! Once they do so the protective layer is compromised opening the wound to potential infection.

• Because Derma+Flex does not require a special activated tip for curing we can also provide an optional long, fine nozzle tip for better control and fine line applications.
